Earth Week 2010

Earth Week is a series of programs, events, and festivals conducted annually the Saturday before Earth Day through the Saturday after Earth Day. The purpose is to celebrate Earth Day and learn about the wonderful programs and actions that are taking place in the community, even learn ways that you can go green in your life. This year we will be conducting guided hikes, an environmental expo, presentations, crafts, a Screen on the Green, a 5K, among other very exciting activities. We will be closing this event with the 40th Anniversary Earth Day Festival!

Walk the trails of the Park to look for animal homes, tracks, and scat.

National Environmental Education Week (EXPO)

There will be demonstrations and educational displays by area organiztions. Demonstrations include fly tying, casting for kids, kayak information, and more!
This event is FREE and does not require a pre-registration.
