The Awesome Science Sleepover

Love science, exploring and discovering, learning new things, and getting a little messy in the process? Then, you will love this sleepover! Join us for a night of discovery and non-stop science explorations at the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Pizza dinner, snacks, and a continental breakfast are included.
Audience: Ages 9-11 with a parent(s)
Fee: $40

Join efforts as we come together to take on projects to beautify and manage projects in Wilson Park. Projects will include cleaning up the park, non-native species removal, improving the water quality and the diversity of wildlife in the Park, and much more.. Headed up by Martinsville Parks and Recreation & the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Call 403-5140 if interested or to let us know you are coming.

In celebration of the month that comes in "like a lion," this program explores the magic of wind! What causes the wind? How does it benefit us? Learn about wind through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
